Back-to-School: Health District Extends Hours on Aug. 6 and 13

Attention Bryan ISD and College Station ISD Families!

The Brazos County Health District is offering extended evening hours to help families prepare for the upcoming school year.

Extended Hours:

  • Thursday Aug. 6: Open until 6:30 p.m.
  • Thursday Aug. 13: Open until 6:30 p.m.

These extended hours are available to provide back-to-school immunizations for students who need vaccines required for school attendance.

Please note: The Brazos County Health District can provide immunizations only for patients who are uninsured or covered by Medicaid. At this time, we are unable to provide vaccines for patients with private health insurance.

To help make your visit as smooth as possible, please bring:

  • Your child’s immunization record (if available)
  • A Medicaid card (if applicable)
  • A parent or legal guardian to provide consent

Vaccinating your child before school starts helps protect their health and ensures they are ready for the first day of class. We encourage eligible families to take advantage of these convenient extended hours.
